Instructions

The steps below show you how to connect Koin Cashback & Store Credit with Shopify Flow to automatically reward customers with higher store credit when they purchase an item from a specific collection. Since every store is different, you may want to tweak the setup to match your goals.

Step 1: Open your Koin dashboard

From your Shopify admin, open Koin Cashback & Store Credit app to access the Koin dashboard.

If you haven’t installed it yet, install Koin Cashback & Store Credit from the Shopify App Store first.

Step 2: Create and configure a custom program

In Koin dashboard, go to Programs from the left menu

Under Custom Program, click Create.

In the template list, choose Collection reward and click Use template.

Configure your reward details and click Save when finished.

Step 3: Download template and copy Program ID

Once saved, click Download template to export the program file.

Also, copy the Program ID. You'll need it in Shopify Flow.

Step 4: Import and edit Workflow in Shopify Flow

Go to Shopify Flow from your Shopify admin

Click Import and upload the template file you downloaded from Koin.

Open the imported workflow and click Edit.

Step 5: Select the collection you want to reward store credit for - Insert the Program ID and turn on the Workflow

Select the Check if box and choose the collection you want to reward store credit for.

Select the Do this box and paste the Program ID you copied from Koin into the appropriate field in the workflow.

Click Turn on workflow to activate it.

Step 6: Publish the Program in Koin

Return to the Programs section in Koin dashboard.

Select your program and click Publish to make it live.
